Natal astral interpretation relates birth timing and celestial positions to an individual, while broader astral omens can concern states or rulers. Similar body names do not make the questions identical. Establish the subject and interpretive unit before studying tables, positions or examples, rather than treating every astronomical record as a modern natal chart.

Follow the reference to its original context and separate the author’s self-description from the later compiler’s comment. It documents use of astrological language without proving that a misfortune resulted from a position; literary explanation and causal evidence are different.
Context and limits
Transmission involves translation, regional exchange and printing, but specific connections need textual evidence rather than vocabulary resemblance alone.
